There's no explaining the miraculous.

I've got a Pilsbury Grand Biscuit in my fridge that bears a passing resemblence to John The Baptist apres-head chopping -- Do I hear $25,000?
Posted by: KING COMTE I at November 23, 2004 09:56 PMOK, how 'bout this then?

Posted by: sven at November 23, 2004 10:37 PMHm, evidentally grilled cheese impressions of Sanrio characters don't have quite the same cache as blessed virgins...
Posted by: KING COMTE I at November 24, 2004 10:43 AMIt's hard for me to write off as "incredibly stupid" somebody who just sold a ten-year-old half-eaten grilled cheese sandwich for $28,000.
Posted by: flamingbanjo at November 24, 2004 10:57 AMI don't know. . .I think I know a Virgin Mary cheese sandwich when I see one. I'm pretty sure that guy bought himself a Clara Bow instead:

Posted by: sgnp at November 24, 2004 03:30 PMI agree with sgnp that it doesn't look very much like the Holy Mother. I was thinking it reminded me of one of those Spanish Ladies I used to see painted on black velvet in the parking lot next to the Gas Station. But, for all I know, maybe that was meant to be the Blessed Virgin as well.
Posted by: The Green Man at November 24, 2004 11:46 PMOh, I didn't mean to imply the person who SOLD it was stupid. The person who bought it (even if it's only a person in the sense that corporations have "personhood") on the other hand...
Posted by: KING COMTE I at November 25, 2004 09:51 PMWell, I'd be inclined to agree, except that for all I know paying $28,000 to get your online casino's name on the BBC's international news service is a bargain.
So maybe they're being stupid like a fox.
