Professional Free Fall

   I didn't watch the Winter Olympics this year. I don't have anything against the Olympics, I just didn't think to tune in. The way I watch TV is, I either order shows I want to watch from NetFlix, or I just randomly turn on our TV when I'm eating my dinner and watch whatever happens to be playing on one of the four channels that come in. That's how I ended up watching the closing ceremonies last night. Can I just say that the guys who were flying around over that giant fan have the best job in the world? Seriously, how does one apply for that position? How many hours of skydiving before they'll certify you to do freeform aerial acrobatics over a jet turbine? Because that was just about the coolest thing ever....

I don't think you need any actual training, as there are lots of places that offer "indoor skydiving" using basically the same technique you describe.
