Okay, two things: First, for some reason comment spam here at Flaming Text™ has gotten completely out of hand in the last week or so. Is anyone else experiencing this? I've never seen it this bad. Feel free to respond with your observations, or if you'd prefer just identify yourself by first name only and give me some sort of generic kudos like "nice design! I'll be back" before including a link back to your site selling discount kitchenware or home refinancing.
I'm not saying it's pissing me off, but... okay, actually that's exactly what I'm saying. It's starting to piss me off. Anyway, if I delete your comment by accident my apologies in advance.
Second, it has become obvious, thanks to the non-spam portion of the comment discussion from my previous space-filling post, that some kind of catchy term for "environmentally-friendly products that don't work" is needed. So I'm throwing it open to suggestions. Does anybody have a really catchy, easy-to-remember term for "environmentally-friendly products that don't work?"
Anyone?

Does "useless hippy garbage" count as a term for "environmentally-friendly products that don't work?"
It kind of reminds me of my Protestant friend who summed up the entire Catholic doctrine of transubstantiation with the simple term "voodoo bullshit."
Posted by: DG at August 16, 2006 05:40 AMI vote for "green crap."
Posted by: beige at August 16, 2006 09:48 AMI like patchouli products, but I'm throwing out:
Meanwells
As in, "Well, first I tried a Meanwell, then I bought Comet."
Posted by: Shannon K. at August 18, 2006 09:56 AMI'd like to propose: "ecojunk."
