So Childish
Indeed, it will be a sad day when candidates for the highest office in the land will have to contend with a media landscape where a single frame plucked from a video can be taken out of context and made into a news story all by itself, with no direct relevance to the greater political discourse whatsoever...

Back in the early '60's, I remember my dad had this gag photo book entitled, "Who's In Charge Here?". The basic premise was to take "out take" political press photos, ones that didn't make it into the public record, and add humorous cartoon balloons.
Somebody should bring that back; there's certainly been enough fodder in this election cycle to put a book like that together.
