This work brilliantly exemplifies a quasi-political slash personal perspective, utilizing an arresting palate of found materials, expressing the artist's angst regarding the tragically abridged lifespan of play-doh birds, and genrally commenting upon the impermanence of avarian soft-sculpture when displayed before a callow audience of unappreciative and artistically insensitive youth.

But it doesn't generally work to leave out that first step.
